Terms and conditions

Photo Release: By registering my child/children, I agree to allow myself, my child/children, and my family to be photographed, video recorded, and our images to be used by the Tampa Magic Camp, Frank Davis, or any of their associations, their respective agents, employees, volunteers, members, clubs, sponsors, promoters and affiliates (collectively “Releasees”) for any reason, including, but not limited to, marketing and promotional materials. I expect no compensation of any kind for the use of these images and forever release any right or claim I may have for them.

 

Tuition and Supplies: Registration tuition covers the cost of ALL supplies and instructional materials to be used by students in class (valued at over $100 for a two week session). At the end of their camp session, students may keep instructional materials and specialty props and magic tricks issued to them. Students will also be issued a Magician’s Oath Card, name badge, and T-shirt. It is the student’s responsibility to care for all items issued to them. The student’s Magician’s Oath card may be kept in their name badge holder. Name badges are to be picked up from an instructor when arriving to camp and are to be returned back to the instructor immediately before leaving each day. T-shirts and name badges must be worn on Field Trip days. The student’s issued T-shirt should be clean and wrinkle free when worn on Field Trip days.

 

 

Appearance Standards: Students must come to class clean, well groomed, and in appropriate clothing. Attire considered appropriate will be: navy or khaki slacks or skirts and a solid color shirt with buttons. Shirts should be tucked in and slacks should be worn with a belt. Solid color shoes should be worn. No sneakers or gym shoes. Socks should be worn with shoes.

Pajamas, sleepwear, or swim clothing is not permitted. Students arriving to class in inappropriate attire may be turned away and asked to return when in appropriate attire for camp classes. As a reminder, no refunds will be issued for any time missed by a student and any materials used in class during the time missed will be forfeited by the student. Field Trips: Field Trips may be conducted off of camp grounds. Field trip schedules may be altered at any time due to weather or other factors, and are at the discretion of camp instructors.

Refund Policy: There is a complete and comprehensive No-refund, no-prorate, and no-prorate return policy. Refunds of ANY kind, for ANY reason, are not permitted.

 

It is the student’s responsibility to attend for each of their registered dates. Due to class size restrictions and a detailed program schedule, dates may also not be adjusted or substituted for missing dates. Supplies and instructions from any days missed by a student are forfeited in their absence from any class time.

 

Students, once accepted into the Tampa Magic Camp and registered, may be asked not to return because of disciplinary issues, lack of commitment to education or practice, or for any other reason. No refunds or prorated returns will be issued for payments made for students who are asked not to return to the Tampa Magic Camp.

 

Taxes: The purchaser of enrollment in Tampa Magic Camp assumes all tax liability associated with the exchange of funds, including but not limited to: sales tax, income tax, or any state or federal taxes associated with the funds used for student application, enrollment, or the purchasing of any items from the Tampa Magic Camp.

 

Food, Drinks, and Medications: Children are required to bring their lunch’s everyday except for field trips when they have an option to buy lunch at the field trip location. Interested parents may have lunch delivered to their students; please call for more information. Students are expected to be knowledgeable and able to care for their own dietary needs and abide by any restrictions they may have due to their faith, allergies, or any other reason. Medications may be sent to camp with students, however, it is up to the student to ensure that proper dosing is being administered at proper times. At no time does the Tampa Magic Camp, its instructors, or any member of its staff assume any responsibility for the providing or food or medication for students. A water fountain and restrooms are available at the camp for students’ use.

 

Non-discrimination policy: The Tampa Magic Camp does not, and shall not, discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion (creed), gender, gender expression, age, national origin (ancestry), disability, or sexual orientation, in the selection of students or any of its other activities or operations. These activities include, but are not limited to, hiring and firing of staff, selection of volunteers and vendors, and provision of services. We are committed to providing an inclusive and welcoming environment for all members of our staff, clients, volunteers, subcontractors, vendors, and students.

 

Anti-bullying policy: The Tampa Magic Camp does not tolerate hazing or bullying of any kind. Students found to be engaging in any type of related behavior may be asked not to return to camp.

 

Changes: The terms, conditions, policies, rules, and regulations of the Tampa Magic Camp may be changed or altered at any time and without notice.

 

Emergency Contacts: The person listed as the students’ “Emergency Contact” should be available at any time to arrange for transportation for the student to and from camp, or any location of camp activities, such as field trips, in cases of disciplinary problems, health issues, or for any other reason.
