what is the tampa magic camp?
The Tampa Magic Camp is first, and foremost, an educational program.
The first classes at the Tampa Magic Camp begin June 13th and will run until August 5, 2016. Parents can enroll students in programs ranging from 1-8 weeks in duration.
At the Tampa Magic Camp, students will receive unique magic props/tricks, books, worksheets, and much more to make for unforgettably fun, and rewarding experiences this Summer! Students will not only learn how to perform amazing magic tricks but will also be taught about math, art, engineering, science, technology, and other traditional academic areas.
Applications are limited to school-age children (K-12). Rates for enrollment will vary depending on the length of stay at camp, with rates starting from $250.
The Tampa Magic Camp is located at 6806 Covington Garden Dr, Apollo Beach, Florida 33572.

5 weeks: $1,150- $100 Savings

8 weeks: $1,800- $200 Savings
• Camp runs from 9am-3pm
• Supervised, before-camp care is 8:30am-9am.
• After care is 3pm-6:00pm at no additional cost.
• An additional discount may be available for those submitting applications for multiple students or siblings. Submit your inquries using the form below.
• Lunch is from 12-1pm Children are required to bring their lunch’s everyday except for field trips when they can buy lunch at the location of the field trip. If interested lunch can be delivered, please call for more information.

Q- Can food be provided for student(s)?

Q- Are the facilities at the Tampa Magic Camp ADA compliant?
A- Yes. All Student and Staff areas of the Tampa Magic Camp are wheelchair accessible and ADA compliant.
Q- My child has unique educational needs or requirements. Can they attend?
A- Yes. Parents should feel free to express any concerns they may have about the unique needs or requirements for their students. Our staff will carefully review each situation and work with the parents to make accommodations wherever possible, however, additional expenses to parents may be required.
Q- Can I visit the Camp with my student?
A- Yes. Parents are always welcome at the Tampa Magic Camp, however, please know that the classroom environment is one that requires focus from students and instructors alike. If the presence of parents causes a distraction that affects the class, parents may be asked to return at a later time. Other school-age children, not registered with the camp, are not permitted to sit in on classes.
Q- How can I receive updates about what’s going on at the Tampa Magic Camp?
A- Parents are encouraged to call during Tampa Magic Camp business hours (9am-6pm; Mon-Fri) or emailing: info@tampamagiccamp.com with any questions they may have. Updates may also be sent to parents via the email that they’ve provided during registration.
Q- How can my student continue their magic lessons after camp?
A- We will be releasing information about our Online, Digital Magic Academy as well as our Live, Local Magic Lessons, both available for every week of the year, very soon. Feel free to send us a message about your interest in this program using the form below.
Q- Are the facilities and classes at the Tampa Magic Camp recorded?
A- Yes. For the comfort and safety of all parties, the grounds and classroom areas are constantly recorded by digital cameras and the footage kept privately secured in the main office.
Q- What is the “Performance Video” that students receive?
A- The performance video is a video of the STUDENT performing skills and tricks that they have learned during their time at Tampa Magic Camp. This video is professionally edited and can be shared with friends and family of the student via common social media such as: YouTube and Facebook.
Q- How do students “graduate” to receive their “Certificate of Achievement” and Official Magician’s Wand?
A- During Tampa Magic Camp classes, students’ knowledge and skills are assessed through practical demonstrations and more traditional testing methods. Students who are dedicated and committed to learning and practice should successfully graduate and be proudly awarded and recognized.
